From 13 years old, a youth player may be curious about playing adult hockey with their peers and continuing their development and continue their enjoyment for years to come.

This transition is on an individual basis, and the parent and player should approach their Age Group Lead Coach or our mid-week Talent Foundation & Development Lead Coaches as a first step. They will guide you from there and discuss the England Hockey principles of RARE (Right Athlete, Right Environment).

Adult hockey is a fantastic supportive environment, where many U18s play, to continue and/or bolt-on another training environment to enjoy and explore new challenges. There are 9 Men's teams and 8 Women's teams ranging from adult beginner and youth foundation, to high performance level, so there is a place for everyone. Please find our Youth Club Pathway below

Come down on a Saturday during the season to see the variety of hockey on offer, it will undoubtedly entertaining and inspiring!
