St Albans HC follows the England Hockey guidelines on safeguarding young people and creating a safe environment in which they can enjoy playing hockey.

Our Club Welfare Officer is Chris Hobson, and he leads the administration for all club roles that require going through the England Hockey DBS checking process. All coaches also undergo the England Hockey Safeguarding training or more extensive training where appropriate.
