We provide internal and externally sourced education for our volunteer and paid coaches, which can be dipped in and out of when coaches have time. The development programme continues to flourish, and be creative whilst keeping our world class foundations at the core.

We know our coaches have very busy lives, and we appreciate the time they give to our club, we continue to learn about how to best support the coaching team and always open to new suggestions.

In-house opportunities
We have started the annual event “the Big Tangerine Takeover”, where our performance squad players take over our youth training to inspire, whilst volunteer coaches are upstairs with biscuits and tea talking through concepts and ideas. We have also thrown in a couple of coaches socials too!

We have fantastic coaches, all with their own style and experience, why not watch another youth and adult coach to further your learning. Please contact Lucy Briscoe to arrange an observation and/or collaboration to further your learning at any level.

External opportunities
Over the last 6 years we have partnered with England Hockey to run a couple of introduction to coaching hockey qualifications, and provided first aid training. We would like to support all our Tangerine Army coaches on their coaching pathway to support your passions and aspirations.
