St Albans HC follows the England Hockey guidelines on safeguarding young people and all it's members by creating a safe environment in which they can enjoy playing hockey.

All coaches at St Albans HC are DBS checked, and have safeguard training. Chris Hobson and Jess Howse support the processing and completion of the above.

Chris Hobson is our Club Welfare Officer and leads the administration for all club roles that require going through the England Hockey DBS checking process. All coaches also undergo the England Hockey Safeguarding training or more extensive training where appropriate.
