'My main passion for coaching has always been around helping people achieve the fitness they want to achieve, and in the way that works for them. I have been playing hockey since I was 11, as a goalie, and this is what started my passion and drive for hockey and fitness. This has been furthered through the completion of my Sports Coaching Degree with Cardiff Metropolitan University, where I worked with juniors at varying levels of experience. I have always had a drive for ensuring that anyone and everyone is able to develop and reach their full potential and to ensure they are remaining safe and healthy throughout, both physically and mentally. From personal experience having a family member with a severe learning disability, I have seen first hand that people with disabilities do not always get the ability to access sports and exercise in a manner that is accessible for them. And so, getting the opportunity to lead the Flyers Programme as a coach is an opportunity I couldn’t pass up on. Throughout this, I will ensure that the environment for those who access the flyers programme is always accessible, reassuring and designed in a way that will meet each players needs in the way that works best for them, ensuring that reasonable adjustments are applied wherever possible to create a reassuring, inclusive and fun environment for all who attend. Helping them to thrive as a player and help them meet whatever goals we would create together for their progression.'

'I have been a member of SAHC Womens’ 2s for 4 years and coaching the Flyerz for the last 2 years. During our sessions you’ll often find both players and coaches getting involved in technical and game based drills, followed by some epic shootouts to the finish the session.
Coaching Flyerz is extremely enjoyable, no two sessions are the same! Working in small groups means that we get to learn more about our players as individuals, focus on their fun and enjoyment as well as improving us all as hockey players.'

'I love hockey, and I am passionate about ensuring that hockey is a place for all to enjoy, learn and build confidence in. I have been assisting Flyerz for a handful of years and always leave with a smile on my face. The sessions are so playful, and it's always enjoyable getting to know the players more and meeting new people. I hope we can give all a positive experience of hockey at the Flyerz sessions'
