8. GUIDELINES: CLUBHOUSE AND GROUNDS

The success of the Club is based on volunteer help from all members. As a result, the smooth running of the Club depends on commitment from everyone.

As we are playing on the Oaklands College campus please respect the college premises, the students and staff and behave responsibly at all times.

NO SMOKING
Please note that smoking is allowed on the Oaklands campus, but only in the designated areas.

CLUBROOM / BAR
Please do NOT bring sports bags, etc. into this area as it just causes additional congestion.

TEAS
Teas for all home games will be provided by the House Manager. Each home team captain will be responsible for notifying the House Manager of the requirements and for nominating members of the team to help the catering staff whenever such help might be required.

CAR PARKING
At Oaklands Hockey Centre please park in the designated areas and not in other parts of the campus.

FOOD AND DRINK
Food and drinks are not allowed within the cage surrounding the artificial pitches at Oaklands Hockey Centre. Plastic water bottles only are allowed and should be discarded when empty in the bins provided.

BAR AREA
We try to maintain the bar area as a part of the Club where visitors and friends are welcome and have the feeling of being in a pub lounge bar. It is a sports club, but people do not want to smell your sweaty kit all night. Please change into ‘civvies’ or into clean gear when using the bar.

FOOTWEAR
Pitch footwear is only allowed in the changing rooms, not in the clubroom/bar at Oaklands Hockey Centre.
