2. Youth players in adult hockey

When a youth player turns 13, they have the opportunity to play in the adult hockey leagues if we deem it appropriate for that moment in time. This decision will be in consultation with your young player’s Age Group Lead Coach and our Coach Education and Shenarda Dedic (Player Development Lead U14-U18).

If you're unsure if your son or daughter is ready for adult hockey, please talk with your age group lead coaches and also come down to the club on a Saturday to see for yourself what the adult game looks like.

Your son or daughter will be invited to adult training and, when the coaches are satisfied that they are ready to play in an adult team, and if there is a place in a team, they will be selected to play Saturday matches.
