5. Becoming a Flyerz Partner


Our Flyerz Partners are people who are willing to help us raise some extra funding for our disability hockey initiatives. We hope this will be especially appealing to many parents of Flyerz Members and of our younger Playing Members and their families. To become a Flyerz Partner involves signing up to a gift of £9 per month (or a single annual payment of £108), preferably gift-aided.

We will account separately as to the use of the revenue raised from our Flyerz Partners and report as to how we are using it. We need and will use this revenue for things like:

  • special coaching sessions
  • hosted events such as hockey games at Oaklands for other Flyerz teams
  • taking Flyerz hockey into local schools and colleges
  • additional equipment
  • hall hire in the winter

Our pledge to our Flyerz Partners is that they will receive (if they wish):

  • regular information from the club about hockey activities
  • named recognition in the Oaklands clubroom, on the club’s website and in the club handbook
  • email report as to how revenue was spent on Flyerz initiatives
  • invitation to special club events and to present awards
