The O45’s (VERY OLD BIRDS!) started their campaign away at Amersham and Chalfont. The team showed their class and had a comfortable 6-0 win. A return trip to Buckinghamshire, this time to Wycombe, produced another 6-0 victory.

The last 16 game v Bishops Stortford was nearly postponed due to frost, but a change in venue meant the game could go ahead. They proved to be much tougher and it took a while for St Albans to score. In the end a 3-1 win took the team to the quarter finals. Storm Dennis tried its very hardest to stop this game, but Norwich City were up to travelling to St Albans. The home crowd were treated to a stunning performance, with the hosts running out 4-0 winners.

The semi-final, postponed by covid, took place in September and Timperley were dispatched 3-0.

In the final, St Albans banished their disappointment of losing in last year's final and put in a scintillating performance in Nottingham, running out 4-0 winners against Bristol-based Redlands.
