I am a Yorkshirewoman, bringing all things northern to the National Conference Midlands League for St Albans Women’s Performance Squad. My two favourite things about playing hockey are playing with my friends and scoring goals (I suppose in that order…).

My hockey career began at Rotherham and Doncaster HC and more recently for the University of Leeds Women’s HC and Harrogate LHC, helping both teams to promotion in my final season with them, then sadly moving on. I am hoping to do the same here at St Albans, without the departure this time. I feel really proud to be part of SAHC and champion all of the things they do across all sections of the club, with some of my teammates being the inspiration for change.

To provide further support for our performance squads, there is the opportunity for companies, families or individuals to be the named sponsor of a player or players. For this, we ask for a contribution of £250 per player per season. This can also be gift-aided. Individuals who assist in this way will be named as the player’s sponsor on the website, on social media and in any home match-day programme.
