The U14 boys conceded 4 goals without netting any themselves, and then proceeded to fight back with great resilience and determination. At half time they were 2-5 down, heading out of the cup competition, and after a strong second half went on to score the equaliser just minutes before the end of the game.

They lost on penalty flicks but it was an outstanding performance from the whole squad, with a never-say-die attitude, playing the hockey they have been coached to play and got the better of a very good Norfolk side.

Player of the match was goalkeeper Daniel Rudoe, who made some seriously impressive saves under pressure, but it could have been any one of the 13 players.
