The clubroom is open for refreshments on Sunday mornings and parents, guardians, friends and visitors are all invited to join us.

The key message for our juniors is that everyone is welcome regardless of age or ability. Sticks are provided for those who wish to try hockey for the first time. They are then encouraged to bring their own as well as footwear for artificial grass pitches, shin pads and a gum shield.

We are always pleased to see supporters at matches and parents / guardians / friends & family are all very welcome to support our Juniors in any way they can. The running of the section is entirely voluntary so every little helps. If you want to get involved just contact our dedicated youth development team (details across).

We want to help

Hockey Coaching opportunities for local schools

The club has been hard at work implementing a full junior structure and strategy for coaching and management. Further to this the club is actively seeking to get involved with schools and runs a programme whereby the club provides coaching to local schools.

This builds on current activities which include regular coaching camps that are open to junior players from any club or school.

If your school or club would like more information on what SAHC could offer please get in touch with us.

Our aim is for all SAHC members to enjoy playing hockey and to promote a healthy participation in sport. We have a number of policies and procedures which we expect all those involved with Junior hockey to observe. These polices and procedures can be viewed via our Policies & Procedures page.
