Fundraising

Earn the club £25!

The club has launched its credit card scheme to raise funds. By applying the club will (on sucessful application) receive £25 per card issued.

Halifax plc has a policy of paying a commission to its agents for every Credit Card customer they bring to them. One of these agents (Catterall Property Services) has a scheme whereby it splits this commission with clubs who bring them Credit Card customers through their membership.

The Management Committee has looked into the scheme and has approved it to be promoted throughout the club.

Your questions answered

What's the Credit Card?

Choose from Halifax's standard Platinum, Gold or Classic VISA Cards. These are the same cards and the same terms that you would receive if you applied for a card via the Halifax direct. (Full details on the Club's noticeboard)

Who can apply?

Anyone aged 18 or over - they do not have to be players or even members. Ask parents or partners if they, too, wish to apply for a card.

How much do I have to spend on the card?

Nothing. The £25 payment is received on the basis of the Card being issued, not on its use. You will never have to use the card if you do not wish to. This is purely a "self-sponsorship" exercise on behalf of the Club. Use of the Card is down to an individual's discretion and the Club accepts no responsibility for the way it is used.

How do I apply?

Brian Parker is administering the scheme on behalf of the Club. Over the course of the next few weeks he will arrange to be at teams 'meets' on Saturday mornings when he will distribute forms to all those who are interested in earning £25 for the Club for a couple of minutes' work. Completed forms are to be returned to your Captain.

How can I get hold of additional Forms?

If you need more forms for parents/partners, please request these from Brian Parker at the 'meet'.

How soon will the Card be issued?

If your application is successful, you should receive your Card within 1 calendar month.

Where can I find out more?

From the Club noticeboard, at www.catterallps.co.uk or by calling Brian Parker on 07970 217233.
